VISIBEEL tracks the usage/purchase of resources and optimizes resource allocation. On-demand Ambeent Cloud services back up key historical data on network/infrastructure elements for easy recovery following an incident

IT operation insights for high-level planning

Ambeent’s evaluation reports are based on digital experience monitoring, synthetic testing results, historical usage patterns and obtained QoS/QoE metrics, thereby providing key insights for engineering and business teams to plan and optimize network resources.

Evaluation reports can be generated to assess performance data for your SLAs with third-party providers and users. Enterprise clients can track whether SLAs with third-party providers, such as ISPs, are being met. Similarly, ISPs can check whether they are delivering the QoS agreed upon in their service-level agreements with user or enterprise customers, thereby improving their brand by boosting their customer-relationship management strategy and customer satisfaction.

Assess existing infrastructure, the changes necessary for achieving greater efficiency and enhanced user experience, the potential areas for cost savings and energy usage, etc.

Proactive network planning that is centered on cost, performance and experience

VISIBEEL creates network and infrastructure visibility in order to monitor traffic trends and predict congestion points throughout the entirety of a physical space, for instance in multi-storey buildings and large venues with hundreds of rooms, including enterprise campuses, universities, hotels and hospitals. End-point agents on the end-user’s mobile device collect precise and dynamic information on usage patterns that assess the efficiency of network infrastructure based on end-user specifications for each floor, room, or space. Such information includes the number of users connected to a given access point, the distribution of end-users between different access points, the section of the area from which end-users connect, etc. This information is combined with client specifications (hourly or daily activities).

Get recommendations for optimum capacity planning, which is both cost effective as well as delivering high performance and QoE. For instance, insights are generated on the number of APs needed by a client, where these APs should be positioned, to which channels they need to be assigned, the network topology model to be used, the maximum capacity limit of obtainable bandwidth, capacity available in relation to application usage patterns, and the number of people who can be serviced on the network infrastructure without compromising QoE.

Backup, recovery and resource- provisioning

Ambeent provides cloud services to clients seeking backups of key historical data on network and infrastructure elements (such as the specific location of APs, their SSID names, their coverages, interference information per AP, and historical data pertaining to infrastructure, past traffic flow and consumption, earlier network diagnoses, and processes, etc.). Depending on clients’ needs, backups can be updated on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis, which is crucial for recovering data following an incident such as, for instance, a network security threat.

Resource provisioning management can be implemented and integrated into the VISIBEEL Console to keep track of resource usage or purchase and optimize resource allocation (taking into account the number of devices, available APs, etc), thereby maximizing QoE/QoS while enhancing the efficiency of network resource usage.

Resource selection and update wizard

VISIBEEL helps organizations select the hardware, software, applications, and services that are optimal for them. Depending on usage patterns and work styles, wizards can be updated or renewed based on what works best for the organization, and IT resources that harm QoE can be pinpointed to fix issues, for example by updating device software.

Real-time HetNet comparison for manual or automated offloading or handover

VISIBEEL’s real-time Wi-Fi and LTE/5G HetNet comparison tool helps enterprises and mobile operators to increase the effectivity of handover or offloading decision systems by means of quick tests performed by VISIBEEL end-point agents to various sites and applications (e.g. Google, Facebook, Youtube, Twitch, etc.) deployed on the cloud. Network resources are utilized more efficiently, and QoE/QoS is maximized by load balancing across different types of access points as well as wireless, cellular or wired networks, depending on availability.

Intelligent infrastructure planning for broadband and 5G

VISIBEEL’s data on usage patterns across geographically distributed locations can be combined with information on existing broadband and cellular infrastructures in order to optimize 5G and broadband infrastructure planning, with an emphasis on cost effectiveness and digital access to under-served regions. ISPs and mobile operators can profile geographical conditions and predict network demand in specific locations to make sounder investment decisions. For instance, 5G infrastructure may be unnecessary when broadband is already in place; and 5G providers would gain a better understanding of whether their investments are worthwhile in regions that contain multiple competitors.
